The Atlas Group of Companies today forms one of Malta’s foremost insurance and financial
services organizations with a staff complement of nearly 150.
The flagship company of the Group is Atlas Insurance PCC Limited, a general business insurer operating an extensive intermediary network
across the islands. Atlas Insurance has recently restructured to become a protected
cell company a development which takes advantage of new regulations under the Maltese
Companies Act. The company has an authorized share capital of €20 million and a paid up share capital of €13
million.
A connection with the worldwide AXA Group is maintained through Atlas Healthcare
Insurance Agency Limited, a sister company to the PCC, that operates an AXA PPP
healthcare agency as well as AXA maintaining a small shareholding in the Group.
Ark Insurance Management (Malta) Limited offers the benefits of the Group’s experience
to insurance companies wishing to use Malta as a domicile. Atlas Investment Services
and Ark Insurance Brokers are logical extensions of the Group’s field of operations
that provide additional financial services support to the Group’s client base.
Atlas Insurance PCC Limited is the first authorized Protected Cell Company
in Malta thus enhancing its reputation as a forward-looking insurer with ambitions
